The festival is open to all movies in three competitive
categories: Full Length Features, Shorts (30 minutes or
less)
and Student Films. All film entries must be submitted on
1⁄2" VHS NTSC Videocassette or DVD to be considered for
selection. Submission tapes/DVDs will not be returned.

Entries must include a film synopsis, complete cast/crew credits, stills and technical information. There is a non-refundable processing fee of $25 (Students $10). Entries must be submitted with the processing fee. Acceptance notices will be sent by August 22.

If selected, a projection-quality DVD or acceptable electronic format must be in the hands of the organizers no later than August 29. Non-English language films must have English subtitles or be dubbed in English.

All materials will be handled with utmost care, but neither the Amador Film Festival organizers nor supporting organizations can assume responsibility for damage or loss. It is important for a selected film to have at least one member of the film’s production staff or cast present for the screenings and special events of the festival.

All checks should be made payable to: Amador County Arts Council and be marked Film Festival in the subject line.
